Comedian Michael Jr., past LaughFest star, returns home to Grand Rapids for New Year's Eve
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Comedian Michael Jr. often has been compared to Bill Cosby.
Both have appeared at Gilda's LaughFest in Grand Rapids, both tell stories about family and family life, and both keep it clean on stage.
Cosby was a headliner at the inaugural LaughFest in 2011 while Michael Jr. was one of several comics appearing in LaughFest's Clean Comedy Showcase.

American comedian
Michael G. Polk Jr. is an American comedian, actor, TV commentator, and newspaper columnist, known primarily for his sketch comedy and viral videos.
Early life and education
[edit]Polk was born in Warren, Ohio. After being raised in Newton Falls, Ohio, he attended Kent State University as an undergraduate and earned a degree in communications and psychology in 2002.[1]
Career
[edit]Polk created the YouTube series Runaway Box / Man in the Box.[2] His work has also appeared on HBO, Cinemax and TNT's Inside the NBA.[3]
