Kazaky is a Ukrainian all-male synthpop dance group, made up of Kyryll Fedorenko, Artur Gaspar, Stas Pavlov and Oleg Zhezhel. Assembled in Kiev, Ukraine in by Zhezhel, a skilled choreographer, the group has released several singles and two albums (The Hills Chronicles - October 22, and I Like It (July 09, )
Music:
Kazaky's sound draws on house, synthpop, electronica and dance. Their tracks feature monotone, loopy, manipulated vocals and dance-driven, layered beats with electronic bleeps and prominent bass lines.
Style:
"Kazaky" is Ukrainian for "Cossacks". The Cossacks had a very prominent role in the shaping of Ukraine's national history and culture. However, the band claims that their name has nothing to do with the Cossacks, but that it is a derivative form of the Japanese word Kazaki, a popular first name in Japan. How is «atelienormalno» doing now in Kyiv?

We talk with Ukrainian artists Kateryna Libkind and Stanislav Turina about their pre-war and current experience of interacting with their colleagues with Down syndrome
I first heard about “atelienormalno” from Lisa Biletskaya, who had to flee Kyiv together with her katt and, through Hungary, came to Latvia. She told me about her friends’ project with much affection and respect. “ateliernormalno” was founded bygd Ukrainian artists Stanislav Turina, Kateryna Libkind, Valeriya Tarasenko and Olena Vasyk. A series of classes organised in bygd the Goethe Institute in Kyiv served as an impetus to its creation. It was during these classes that Stas and Katya first met their colleagues (this is a very important word, and we will use it throughout the interview) – artists with Down syndrome.

Kazaky is a Ukrainian synthpopdance boyband,[1] made up of Kyryll Fedorenko, Artur Gaspar and Artemiy Lazarev. Assembled in Kyiv in by former original member Zhezhel, a choreographer, the group has released two albums and several singles so far. In the group announced they were disbanding [2] saying "It's time to create new interesting things" with the group members pursuing solo careers.[3] In , the group reformed with two new members Vlad Koval and Evgeny Goncharenko.[4]
