How old were you when started playing sports and was tennis the first sport you played as a child if not what was the first sport you started playing and why did you switch to tennis instead of sticking with that sport?
Jody Maginley- Since I was a little boy, I played both tennis and cricket. There were periods where I would take breaks from one sport to play the other, but both were balanced til around 14 years old. At that point, the decision was made to play tennis as it seemed like the safer route in terms of education and also the sport itself.
How old were you when you won your first tennis tournament as a child and did that win as a child encourage you to want to pursue a professional tennis career yes or no and why?
